i really love Canada a lot. some really cool people were born here. i was born here. ‘we’ invented hockey. winnie the pooh is originally from Winnipeg.
but the lamest thing, the lamest thing EVER is that we don’t have TiVo.
this makes me so fucking mad. it makes me feel like ‘we’ aren’t cool. it makes me want to move to Philadelphia.

it is a version of it but the box is like over 500.00 dollars. shaw are assholes i hate them. not to mention the millions a month to watch regular shit.

When I was little and I thought about Philadelphia, I would think about Benjamin Franklin and the Liberty Bell and that sort of “America-Fuck-Yeah” stuff the grade school teachers pound into our minds when we’re kids… Now I just think of that movie with Tom Hanks in it where he’s the gay guy dying of AIDS and gets fired from his law firm. That’s a sad movie. But it’s good. He won an Oscar for it.
So, that’s totally got nothing to do with TiVO, I know. But I always thought Canada was pretty cool. Knowing you guys don’t have TiVo doesn’t change that for me

quibble quibble milne never owned the bear per se, it was loaned to the london zoo by a vetrinary officer (yes vets served to take care of the cavalry) at the start of the war but his stay became permanent after four years there. he was bought from a trapper for 20 clambones. i wonder what 20 bucks bought you back in 1914….. probly a model T and a hooker. he must have really wanted that bear.
