you are not an expert until you have hurt yourself at least four times

a while ago i met another blogger, C.J. Hixon who also encompasses what it means to be a true lover of the air gi-tar. unless you read my comments you may not have picked up on it. and if you didnt know till right now that i LOVE air gi-tar you suck (unless you are new here then you are forgiven)

that aside, up until yesterday i honestly thought C.J. was joking when wed banter about winning the WORLD AIR GI-TAR CHAMPIONSHIPS. i do consider myself an expert on the air gi-tar and am utterly disgusted with myself for not knowing i could compete.

could i have been any more ignorant to the WORLD of air gi-tar? i think NOT. i was so LOST in my own skillz. BUT thankfully and just in time if you ask me, i saw a documentary on the Independent Film Channel on this Canadian dude who was TRYING everything he could to get to Finland for the WORLD AIR GI-TAR CHAMPIONSHIPS.

if i were in my 90s or had a weak heart this discovery would have likely killed me via shock or heart attack - possibly both combined.

this documentary did help ease the pain and guilt i felt over not knowing such a thing existed. Canada does not seem to have a nation wide competition, provincial competitions or anything. i MAY have to do something about that. granted the dude in the documentary looked like he was trying really fucking hard and people just thought he was NUTTERS. it was simply called Air Guitar in Oulu, Finland.

for me a new quest begins.
