It started Friday with an innocent comment from Paul.
“I heard Vancouver traded Bertuzzi. Is that true?”
I knew it was true; I googled it found nothing [at the time] but still knew.
Then when I woke up Saturday morning and Miss 604’s MSN name said BIG CANUCK TRADE and I had a text message on my phone and an email stating- I went straight to your blog this morning to see if you had a Bert post up but nope.
I looked it up freaked out was like WELL we got a goalie AT LEAST. But due to my love of Bertuzzi I will miss him but I knew he was going I was ready I was preparing or trying to. And because I hate fucking band wagon Bertuzzi lovers and I’m DEFENSIVE I’m going to state AGAIN that I have LOVED him since the 90’s SO THERE.
I don’t know it was funny when I was reading out some news article and under the announcements of who we got for who shit man I’m sad Auld and Allen are gone too and maybe even Jovo? Holy. HAHAHAAHHAHH I saw Ryan Kessler yesterday, it said something like “Bertuzzi attacked Moore from behind…etc etc” I yelled out “HE DIDN’T ATTACK HIM” and Adam said “What did he do then make love to him?” Upon further digestion on Adam’s part he also said: “Well, at least now that he’s with a hot weather expansion club he’s got a chance at the cup.”
For me of all the teams he could have gone to the Panthers are FINE WITH ME but for VERY stupid reasons. BUT at least I found some positive reasons stupid or none. The email I received wondering WHY I hadn’t posted ASAP on him leaving was from my oldest girlfriend and through her I hung out with Mark Fitzpatrick’s sister throughout high school and she SAVED MY ASSSSSSSSS a lot. Ok so Fitzpatrick retired in 2001 and didn’t even end his hockey career with the Panthers but so what I had to grasp at something.
