I know posts about the weather are super exciting which is why I’m doing one. The weather sucks. It started out like normal end of October beginning of November Vancouver – surrounding area rain and then it flooded my street.

A Good Samaritan emptied three curb drains with his boot, he has a dog named Angus and the street cleared but there is a hole in my rubber boot which Adam hasn’t fixed because he ‘claims’ the first time he glued it I bent the boot right in half whilst whining that it hadn’t worked. I THOUGHT it had been long enough I didn’t realize my boots needed 40 hour to dry glue. I have a funny feeling I’ll have to glue them myself this time. Every time you think it is going to stop it doesn’t or it changes like it gets windy. The sun in fact is peaking through right as I’m typing this BUT IM NOT FALLING FOR IT. I’m with Miss 604, you could canoe around down town right now. My Mom is coming to visit this weekend she will need to bring the canoe for sure. Better AND cheaper than renting a car anyway.

Gus watches the storms. I have sideways video and photo footage because Gus leads an incredibly exciting life Gus also likes Tool. A lot. I think this one photo captures her feelings on the rain rather well.

Still most mornings I manage to get out for walks with Rilah and Famdamily except on the ones where the puddles are over my boots RE: they have a hole in them. I’m trying to get a routine going to help with my mental stability. It also includes getting up in the mornings with Adam and making him lunch because I’m a kickass wife like that.
