I have been missing in action for the best reason ever. Even though we didn�t �do� Christmas this year it came to us from some rad people and we had lots of things to open on Christmas morning. Christmas in November from my parents was awesome but also a sacrifice to our tree. A good one though because I�m getting a sexy burger belly from all the burgers we grill on the grill we got. I felt really special this Christmas and I may even like it a little more now, but tell anyone that and I�ll deny it.
We also got TOYS YAY we got Star Wars Mr. Potato Heads, Darth Tater and Spudtrooper. [Coming soon: an epic story featuring them both in the works by ABC 4 Promotions special appearances, requested by giver of gift. Rhonda]
This is not why I have been a bad blogger though THAT is because Adam got the Bonus. And with that bonus he bought us [because WE weren�t doing xmas gifts to each other] GUITAR HERO II. BEST GAME IN THE WORLD. He of course got the very last copy and even now typing the tips of my fingers are still a little numb and swollen. The game is epic, a work out, you fall back completely spent after playing for a roaring crowd and finishing a song and then pounding out an encore. If you use the whammy bar excessively it will break. IT WILL. We have not broken it. This game makes you turn off your phone, your msn, lock your doors and only play it from morning till night. After a month or so of Christmas musak it is also a nice change. It rules to feel like a Rock Star in your own home. I think the game should have groupies for your character that�d be even cooler. You wrap the game by finishing Free Bird. I have wrapped it on Easy and Medium. There is Hard and Expert left. I tried Expert and it was so hard I lasted less than three seconds. We have been playing while drinking too much coffee from the matching kitten mugs we got. WE HAVE MATCHING KITTEN MUGS!
I went out for New Years for the first time since 2003 when we ended up the only people not dressed up at a rather large 80’s theme party. Host forgot to tell us. Rebecca, Miss 604 was having a New Years gathering and invited us a couple weeks before and Adam kept insisting I wouldn’t go because A. I don�t like New Years and B. I have social anxiety around people I know let alone people I know only from speaking with on MSN and over their blog and C. I cancel everything. SO I stepped up to the challenge Adam dropped down and WENT. It was fun I met new people. Miss 604 and John her Husband are great hosts and the best was that they don�t know about my balance issues and I fell over twice I think. One thing you�ll be hearing A LOT of until June 14 is that I AM TURNING 30 THIS YEAR and the worst is that I wasn�t having any issues with it in fact when Spockette turned 30 last year I was all BIG DEAL 30 will be great who cares you�ll LOVE IT. Great friend I am NOW I�m totally freaking out and there were two other girls there turning 30 THIS YEAR and we ALL agreed that at the stroke of midnight the �I�m turning 30 this year� was not at all cool. I also admitted I was having issues that I was not before having and I say, I DO SAY, 30 is NOT the new 20. 20 Sucked. Adam is all excited, good thing one of us is. I also do not like the new wrinkles under my eyes when I take off my make up when I wear it which is not every often now I have to pull down the skin to get the crap out of the wrinkle this is HORRID.
Ps. The Bunny Calendar is up and I curse it every time I walk by it this might be a long year.
