Tuesday night is quickly becoming a movie night for us because our television schedule is the end all be all and Tuesday night has dick all on and we love movies. I don’t plan on doing any weekly movie reviews or BS like that, mostly because I really suck at writing reviews but did anyone seriously enjoy the ‘newest’ King Kong movie? For serious like did you walk out thinking THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER? If you did you have problems, possibly serious ones. Had I have wasted my money seeing it in the theatre I’d have run out screaming and NOT because of all the scary computer generated Dinosaurs either. Everyone knows they cast the real King Kong but those Dinosaurs were ALL FAKE. I feel sorry for Kong even having to star in that movie, was he not worried it would ruin his image? Because he should have been, he should have said NO.
The green screen acting was some of the worst I have ever seen. Naomi Watts I may not like you anymore, I don’t know if I ever did, I can’t remember. I still have to see The Painted Veil though but that is more because my buddy worked on it not because I love you, funny how I have photos of Edward Norton from the wrap party but not of YOU. And Adrien Brody what were you even doing in a movie with Jack Black?
I know coming from someone who lives for 24 that saying I found it far fetched is a stretch but I couldn’t finish watching it. I made it to the part where Adrien Brody makes it all the way back through the areas that killed all the other guys to where Naomi Watts is making eye love to Kong until she sees Brody and instantly starts making eye love to him and gets Kong pissed and running after them back to the boat where I assume they somehow knock him out with Chloroform.
Ps. I have never disliked an America’s Next Top Model contestant like I dislike Renee if she does not go tonight; I’m going to lose it. Kong style. I can not figure out HOW this woman is seriously raising a child, when her child is probably twice if not triple her maturity level.
