I think if people are going to do the top 100 about themselves they normally do it in the first year and I never did it, I never announced when GG turned one either. I didn’t go with the flow. But now GG is basically two. I can’t believe it has been that long already and I still have most of the readers I started with plus a few new ones and I appreciate you all very very much, and thank you for sticking around. Your comments make me laugh and think and your emails make me feel special and I’ve made some really great friends, something I never expected.

So for my Two Year Anniversary I will do what I will call The First Quarter of Corinna Carlson’s 100 things about ME.

1. I am left handed.

2. I really do love John Denver, I saw him live at Canada’s Wonderland when I was a wee kid.
3. Gus is a female cat with a male name because the balls on a male cat do not drop until they are 8 + weeks old and the woman who I got Gus from told me ‘the cat’ was a male and I never bothered to check again for balls.
4. People accused me of having fake eyelashes in grade school and some people still ask if they are fake. I didn’t and never have and hate fake eyelashes in general because I have small breasts [and got picked on to the max for that too], let me have my bloody beautiful eyelashes please and don’t accuse me of having fake ones. JUST like real and fake boobs, eyelashes come in all different colors and lengths and super long ones does not automatically mean FAKE like skinny bitches with huge boobs doesn’t ALWAYS mean implants.
5. I could solo paddle a 16 foot canoe when I was seven years old.
6. I spent my youth in Scouting, I did Brownies, Girl Guides, Pathfinders [Ranger Guide] and Ventures.
7. As a kid I used to teach knots to my Dad’s Cub’s when he was a Leader because it would intimidate them and they would learn them faster.
8. The first time I ever went down hill skiing I wore jeans and fell really bad and hurt ligaments in one of my knees and I had to be taken off in a stretcher and my jeans were cut off and I had to go to the hospital and then the next year I went up and could ski almost like I had skied my whole life. ODD. And I still rule at down hill skiing I just never get to go.
9. One of my Grandmothers was a lesbian.
10. I experimented with women but decided on men.
11. I watch Hot Topics on The View everyday. [please don’t stop reading my blog] BUT only Hot Topics I turn it off after that.
12. In Grade 6 [which would have been in Smithers] some friends and I found some beer bottles on the school ground and we drank out of them. Holy shit it could have been PISS. And we almost got expelled and all of our parents said we were bad influences on each other and we weren’t supposed to hang around each other any more.
13. I have had a headache almost every day to some degree since November of 1994.
14. My favorite body part on myself is my butt.
15. My least favorite body part on myself is my extra face skin.
16. I have ran a half marathon and have ran a 44:30 minute 10km, on my ‘goal list’ I had ‘run a 45 minute 10km’ and I meant it in my life time so I have had to change the goal time to a 40 minute 10km ‘in my life time’ now.
17. I have an I/T band injury to my right knee that has kept me from running seriously for almost 4 years.
18. My first real career was as a Travel Agent.
19. I have only been to: Florida, The Cook Islands, Oregon, The Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, Ontario, Alberta and Mexico.
20. I am an only child.
21. I am my Dad and Mom’s favorite daughter.
22. I have been officially fired from one job and I deserved it.
23. I can’t stand coriander.
24. I am the most afraid of snakes.
25. I am a natural blonde. My hair is getting darker with age but I no longer color it at all and haven’t for going into the second year now and won’t again until the grey starts to come in.
