Miss Universe
Adam and I were watching the Miss Universe pageant last night because we rule and are very good judges and normally pick the winner. Canada was not in the finals this year. Miss USA was though. ‘She’ normally is. I have no problem with that, why would I she tried just as hard as everyone else to get there. OR DID SHE???? During various moments of the show you saw Donald Trump of course you did. You expect it. I just can’t stand the man. And now I can’t stand him even more. And bless the Mexicans for putting a stop to his beyond obvious rigging. Miss USA comes out in her evening dress and FALLS on her ass and got I THINK an 8.754 or close to that, we gasped more at her score than her fall. I am no pageant girl nor would I ever want to be, I don’t even want to begin to try and understand the mentality it takes to be eighteen and wanting to look twenty five [plus] prancing around in HORRID bathing suits and generally WORSE dresses, and yes honey we all know you want World Peace.
Anyway, we finish watching the rest of the ladies in their evening gowns. Miss Japan did look amazing and we figured Miss USA was done there was NO WAY she could get into the final five and we made our choices. BUT she DID so we instantly turned it off.
ENOUGH of that crap. Miss Tanzania should have been in Miss USA’s spot, no question. From the remaining women I hoped that Miss Japan would win as she was the only one who even looked half human and she was very pretty but I thought I’d never know because we turned it off and ranted for five minutes over how the evening gown competition is about GRACE and poise and elegance and did I mention grace? We watch crap TV sometimes but come on that was too much.
This morning I’m at the computer when out of the corner of right ear I hear the words NOT A GOOD NIGHT FOR MISS USA figuring it was only about her fall I did not pay it any heed until I heard them mention that when she got up to be asked her final question she got booed! Bloody sweet. I would normally not condone this behavior but Trump can take his show and fucking shove it up his ass. You can’t have a girl FALL ON HER ASS and expect to win no matter how much you paid your cronies. And the only way to stop assholes like Trump is to stand up against them and by booing her they did and we did too by turning it off. Here is a man that could do so much good with his money but wastes it on promoting idiocy and then jokers like me watch it, well not anymore Mr. Trump the off button is pretty empowering.
