Mood to Burn Bridges

I have a lot to say right now. But I’m not in a good space to say it.

Y’all know I love Neko Case a lot. No artist moves me like she does.

Past couple days I’ve slipped back into some unhealthy behaviors; since I was a kid it is always music that helps to pull me through.

This song speaks to me because I changed for a real, a long while back now, but with that change came brand new legs and those legs slip out from under me some days and when I’m trying to assert myself I end up looking like some asshole martyr but you see, when it really comes down to it I don’t care because it is still all a learning curve and at least I’m asserting myself and making an effort to learn the correct way.  A year a go I didn’t give a shit how I came across. I know these new legs aren’t full of muscles yet, just some burst veins but I’m working out, a lot.

    @Chris … dude!!!!!!! how have you seen the cover!?!?! i know you got friends and shit but seriously, im so jealous! she said at the last concert it was out in March i was just on the site… ahhh im coming to bug you on facebook now in case you don’t see this.. HA

    ps. i ALWAYS think of you both when i wear that shirt how can i not :) and it is my very favourite shirt ever. i don’t even want to know how i would live with the loss of that shirt.

    Neko is awesome. I was once front row at a sit-down gig at a place near me called ‘The Glee Club’. She gave me a wink and I practically melted. That’s the night I brought the green t-shirt for your ‘Neko Case T-Shirt Challenge’. Good times.
